Do I give a fuck if you believe that? Plant's son goes to the Royal Grammar School in Worcester, and he used to go to the Wyche in Malvern.

Wow, this is my kind of thread.
They are my favorite band ever. I'm not a fanatic about much, but I am for Zeppelin.
I still can't figure out how the hell Page did some of the stuff he did on guitar, even looking right at the sheet music.

Led Zeppelin is an awesome band and is definatly one of the best if not THE best band in the world. Their music is great and they are what really turned me on to other bands like Pink Floyd and The Doors. They freaking rock. It's a shame John Bonham isn't alive anymore or they would totally kick ass today ...not that they don't already.

I've been listening to Zeppelin since before I can remember. My dad would be blasting Kasmir while we were camping in the woods and smoking a J when I was 5 years old. Their muisc will forever inspire me.....

The Cult are far better. Led Zeppelin were very good, not amazing.

i first started listening to zep about 2 years ago, after i heard my bro playing 'since i've been loving you' i was intrigued and that is still my favourtie song to this day. They are all talented and true innovators. I originally thought they were american but soon discoved they are british which was even better! My own breed! heh

Haha, yeah, I think British bands tend to be far better than American, as far as the classic rock goes.

I started listening to Led Zeppelin about 4 years ago (now I'm 16). First I heard Stairway to heaven, and I tought...wow, that's great...I was listening to STH every day lol even more than 20 times dayly. The first record I got was Led Zeppelin IV, where I fell in love with Black Dog, Rock n Roll, Misty mountain hop...so I was all in to LZ IV, and I didn't had enough of their music, so I bought Led Zeppelin II ... and shit... that was amazing, I almost cried when I first heard Thank You...It is still my favorite song of LZ after all these years :D. They realy have some great music...they are one of the best bands of all times. Whenever I am sad I listen to Rain Song from song remains the same...It's just magnificent.
They beacame a part of me and my life style :D.

But then I heard The Wizard from Uriah Heep...and it started the same way as with Led Zeppelin...just that here it was much stronger pashion to their music...almost the same as with Pink Floyd.
And now for 3 years I'm a big fan of Uriah Heep and Pink Floyd.
I recomend you their music...I think you wont be disapointed (Listen to their first albums...like Look at yourself, Demons and wizards, The magicians birthday, salisbury...)

    Shine on :D

So many people say that Led Zeppelin is over rated. They don't understand the extraordinary talent as musicians. "Bonham's drum solo on Moby dick was ridiculous." I hear that all the time but i think that the band doing that was pure genious. If you think Zeppelin was over rated, I want you to find a band that didn't put any bit of labeling on their album and it sell a shit load!!! Zeppelin can.

It's the little stuff that gets me, like Kramer and Plant talking about the plane at the beginning of Black Country Woman, or the squeak of Bonham's bass drum on Since I've Been Loving You, or the "Stop!" in The Ocean.

I still don't see anything ever topping Zeppelin for me.

Or how he dedicates Bron-Yr-Aur-Stomp to his dog.
Haha, nah, I think it was pretty awesome that he got Zeppelin together to play some songs for her 21st birthday.
