utah has moab and arches national monument, awesome skiing and some of the most freakishly glorious national parks. people always think it's boring, but every time someone drives through for the first time, they have to call me up and say "OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!! THAT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!"
    no shit.

idaho has couer d'alene and some truly magnificent countryside. look it up.

anyway, other than those two, which i think are terribly underrated in the gorgeous scenery, i know nothing about the other ones. but i tend to like just about anywhere so long as i don't have to deal with regional fucktards.

if you mean never hearing anything about it, then definitely North Dakota

I wouldn't say Maryland is that white bread, for one thing it has Baltimore, and another thing is its more hickish and rural then suburban, outside of the DC area anyway

agreed on Utah, that place is otherworldy, I love those national parks

How can you say Utah isn't remarkable? Have you ever heard of Zion National Park?!?

It is simply the most amazing place I have every been. Anyone who says Utah is unremarkable is a moron.

I have been almost every state and each one of them was remarkable in their own way and I love all of them.

Yeah... the Redwoods are soooo unremarkable! As well as the fact that you can live in places where there are almost no people whatsoever.

While you're right about Connecticut and Rhode Island, Rhode Island does have Newport (The home of the rich & famous, albeit old money) and while Connecticut is usually just a state to drive through on the way to New York City, it does have Yale University (Our current President attended Yale)

hmmmm.....I take it back, Connecticut has nothing to offer

Before President Bush graduated (and was exposed as a moron) Yale University was one of the most prestigious Universities in the World [IMG]

Considering the media in America right now, wouldn't it be better not to be in the news?

North Dakota has the most votes right now, yet I've hardly seen any comments on it.

I'm just wondering what people think about it.

my god u list some incredibly remarkable states & skip the 1 thats truly unremarkable

    nebraska

crossing the state is mind numbing
the scenery doesnt change 1 bit the entire time
theres not1 remarkable thing there anywhere
    just a ton of nothing

all the rest are really beautiful remarkable states each each in theyre own unique way

nebraska is the only sane choice & the only option u needed in this poll
