I personally don't mind some of their new stuff, but why oh why did they change "scents and subtle sounds" they way they did? On their summer '03 tour, they played it beautifully but the past summer it was different. Although their last couple albums have been different, I go into it with an open mind; something alot of Phish fans don't do. Their new stuff is different, but still worth a listen. Round Room was a great album, in my opinion. I liked them trying out new styles and taking music to new levels. Story of a Ghost was different, too, and remains one of my favorite albums. My least favorite album is probably Lawn Boy. It doesn't do much for me.
Round Room for me, with the exception of maybe one or two songs. I don't think Undermind is all that bad. Definitely not their best, but still better than Round Room.
my copy of round room got stolen... but it was one of the most boring phish albums i owned, but i liked it. Pebbles and marbles was a great song off it.
I'm not really too fond of Phish. But if I had to say what their worst album is, I would say Billy Breathes. Besides track 2 that cd sucks ass.
I personally like undermind..but yet this summer its what I mainly listened to waiting in traffic to get to their show well i pretty much like all the albums and cant really say which i dislike the most.. they all do something for me...tho i think there might be 1 or 2 i havent heard.. but then again their studio albums are nothing compared to live... i mostly get their live shows... lately i've been loving the gamehendge set from 3-22-93 but I'm looking for the Tower Jam from the IT festival..
i don't know undermind or round room, so maybe they're shitty and i don't know it. but.... c'mon! waste is my favorite relationship/declaration of love song...train song, theme from the bottom...Billy is mad chill. i'll throw my obligatory vote at Rift because i don't really like mound or lengthwise...most of the others are good though. it's definitely hard to say it's bad though. i like it! i like phish!
hmmmmmm..... now that is such a tough question.... i suppose if I had to choose one that I didn't like AS MUCH, I'd probably say Billy Breathes.... it has a lot of good tracks, but for some odd reason it hits me as.... sappy.
Rift is probably my least favorite ('cept for "Weigh," that song is AWESOME!) I am, however, a big supporter of Billy Breathes.
i've only lisetned to farmhouse and it has a few key tracks. I've heard their studio albums suck though
everyone are you out of ur minds?! phish is truly amazing. ahhh i think all of theyre albums have their own good qualities but i think rift lost some points for me as well. i liked the experimentation though with lengthwise. phish will live on forever but trey probably wont because of that tube up his nose.
