In case you weren't aware Lanze changed the recipe for it's Nip Chee crackers awhile ago. This has really upset my wife, who used to like them, but now says they suck. I have to agree as they even cut back on the amount of cheese in the crackers so that they don't even stay together anymore and just have this little drop of dried up stuff in the middle. And they used to be yellow and now they're orange. Also they're now exceedingly hard to find for some reason. And that is the crux of my problem. Now every store we walk into ends up being an elaborate hunt for original Nip Chee crackers. Not the "new" version, the old version. My wife is convinced that somewhere in the world there's a renegade Nip Chee factory that still clandestinely produces the old Nip Chee cracker and then secretly ships them to random stores on the East coast of the U.S.A. And so the question becomes, how do I help my wife to end this obsession? Any suggestions?
Speaking on behalf of "SEE"......we want our cake and eat it, too. It is the way of the modern world.....cut corners....and charge more money for things...quality is just not there anymore in many things. I would write to the company of this cracker and cheese and tell them...unfortuneatly , you will no longer be a customer....You liked the old recipe better.....or something to that effect.....being as nice as you can about it. I never heard of these crackers or saw them.......I ate cheez its once upon a time many moons ago....but they were always the bright orange yuck color, so I stopped eating those a long time ago...and made my own white cheddar and white cracker sandwiches........which I don't eat anymore, either.
Try the peanut butter or just buy ritz, and put cheese slices Sorry, but I could not live with someone who made a big deal out of something like this. Wahhhh my crackers. Much much bigger problems in the world. Im in a bad mood.
Seems strange coming from someone who was upset all day over a stranger who did not want to accept their mentos.
I wasn't upset about that. And definitely not ALL day. I was confused and slightly offended. But congratulations on always derailing threads. Good grief, this forum is full of whack jobs. I'm not excluding myself. But damn. Drama Rama.
Better get used to it. A lot stuff that once tasted good will soon taste like shit. The FDA will be banning trans fat soon. I bought a loaf of bread yesterday, a brand I've never used before. Ate a slice and thought it tasted weird. Looked at the date and discovered why it tastes so weird: it's loaded with preservatives having a Best By date of more than a month away. Definitely complain to the company. Celeste pizza had a regular customer of me for years until they changed the cheese and skimped. I complained, stopped buying and couldn't have been the only one because a time later they fixed themselves and got right.
Yes,call up the company. We have someone here that works at m and m factory. Maybe someone here works for Nip..Lance?; ) What country are these origin? USA or somewhere else?
Hold on . Re-read and you want to End her obsession, not feed her addiction... Scrarch the petition,no calling the company. So just maybe get her some Cheeto puffs.
so has ethel stevenson, but i never heard of her before today either. 103-Year-Old Detroit woman still loves going to work
Lance is based in North Carolina I think, but was recently bought up by Synder's of Hanover, PA. They sell internationally. No, no Cheeto's. They are very addictive. Like a drug.
well i never cared for any kind of cheezy bitz, nor cheddar either at all. and i can't even seem to get a fast food burger without any on it. i keep saying NO cheese, and they act like i'm speaking some language they don't understand. (one reason i usually avoid fast food burger joints too) i don't even buy cheeze itself, though jack and some of the others with less salt and rennet in them are ok. never did understand the attraction. hadn't heard of this name for this product, though the package looks familiar, probably same product exists with a different name in the western u.s.
