    You lack reading comprehension skills.
Where did I say this was racist against white people?

People celebrating the Indian Girl's removal are racist against native americans.

Like the conquerors of yesteryear, they removed the Indian and kept the land

    This post gives me hope.

People who wage war on brand mascots have no life.

That's not proof that it is the reason the company made the change..

They are looking at the Cream of Wheat emblem. I always thought it pretty strange to have an African-American chef as their brand imagery. It wreaks of servitude. :)

Cream of Wheat, Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, all going in quick succession, and finally Mrs. Butterworth who was based on Thelma “Butterfly” McQueen,
who played a maid to Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone with the Wind,”

The only thing that will end racism is the end of the human species.

Because that's one ugly-looking bitch, that's why. Also, am I the only one that thinks she looks like an amputee?

No, it doesn't by a long shot end it. But it shows that our culture is concerned about the appearances that enable (for lack of a better word) a careless attitude, prejudice, or perhaps ideological immorality.

What I mean is, by having such logos we see a sort of hypocrisy in our society. If they change them, that hypocrisy goes away. The hypocrisy is, as an example, when you're taught in elementary school about prejudice and how it's wrong, but then you go to Vons or whatever grocery store and you see Uncle Ben and Aunt Jemima. Do you see what I mean?

No, I don't see anything wrong with those labels. In fact Uncle Ben is based on Frank Brown, who was an African American entreprenuer who partnered with Gordon Harwell, a successful rice businessman during the depression. Canceling his image does a disservice to African American entreprenuers and his legacy.

If anything, I think the people who see these brand labels as offensive, are bigots in of themselves. Goes to show that liberals these days are so priviliged to the point that they have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives than wage war on brand mascots.

Sadly you're probably right in that there's no true way to fully erraticate racism.

But that doesn't stop these history revisionists from believing that racism can be conquered by toppling statues, renaming streets, buildings, towns, and pressuring businesses to rebrand themselves.

No, but how do you think the Jewish community would react if a major US company used this image
    in their advertisement campaign.
