If any packaging featuring minorities is racist, even if they're portrayed accurately, then why not redesign every package with this guy?

Whats accurate about a native American sitting in seiza presenting packaged butter?

What if Native Americans want to eat butter? Butter is yummy. I went down to Taos about a year ago, there was an Indian lady who sold bread in a traditional Indian fashion, and what's more, it had butter on it, and it was better with butter.

Also, I doubt the designers of the package knew what "seiza" was, they probably just called it "sitting on your knees" back then

It's pretty good. What I say is, a Native American lady can enjoy butter if she wants, and she can sit however she wants

The whole world uses toilet paper because toilet paper is effective. Likewise, I doubt you could find any Native American these days, or even back in 1900, who didn't give butter a try, or have butter in their cabinet. Butter is a food staple. We got corn from them, they get butter from us. Corn is better with butter. What's so bad about that? Native Americans can eat butter if they want, they can eat Chinese food if they want. They can eat whatever they want, same as anyone else, and if some Indian lady is holding a stick of butter, I have no idea what's so awful about that.

She's not overly red and she doesn't say "Ug" or Wampum" and she's not a caricature like Chief Wahoo and her garb is perfectly accurate, so only racists would be offended by it, and her departure is just another example of history being erased
