Lady's when was your last physical? I go in for one today and I am dreading it she always has a hard time getting it in there, its very painful I know it will be over before I know it. I try and relax my muscles but doesn't work
Other that what you are already doing, I can't think of anything that might help! being relaxed is 90% of the battle, I can say that it should get easier as you get older, you reach a point where you stop caring about what's going on down there!! I recently had an internal with 5 medical students in attendance (with my blessing I should add!), even the nurse/chaperone told me after that i was very brave to go through that the way i did!
My last PAP was last summer, so I should be getting a call from the doctor in the next couple of weeks, actually. My doctor is pretty gentle and quick, the whole procedure is only 3 or 4 minutes tops. Having the same person perform the procedure really helps me relax. Just focus on your breathing and remember that the physical is for your benefit and has to be done to ensure you stay healthy. You could also reward yourself with something afterwords, like a fancy coffee or a new book or something.
I had one a few months ago. I go yearly. I dont really mind it after being pregnant. When i was pregnant my doctor would reach in and feel my cervix with her hand..not to mention the freakin cattle prod she used to break my water. Soooo a pap smear is pretty much nothing after all that.
last one I had was 2 years ago yeah I like the PA Becky she is very good I know everyone hates them I wish it would be more easy
will be leaving soon for my appointment have to walk there today so I wanna make sure I get there early
she always has to get the smallest tool for me she is very good she knows me I keep thinking once its over with I can come home and smoke a bowl and chill out
Perfect. And just remember you are doing this to ensure your health, so it is worth it. Hopefully it will be over before you know it.
Cervical cancer is one of the most easily preventable cancers and also one of the deadliest if not caught early. I wish all cancers were as detectable as cervical. Pap smears suck but we're lucky to have them
all done everything looked good she said I just breathed and tried too relax she was very good she had said since I;m not sexually active and don't use tampons that paps can be harder for some girls but all done she said I don't need one a few years
