So would you? Would this be enough to push him over the edge into the friend zone?

    What do you think?

Well, only one response though in almost 6 hours. I think that says something.

My snickering at baby talk isn't gender related.

Well, I for one in fact do often talk to dogs and cats like they are babies. Not like "Coochie Coochie Coo!" or anything like that. If a cat starts meowing, or a dog starts whining, I'll say something like, "Honey, what's wrong? What's the crying for?"

I guess I'm ok with that not being respected.

Same Here, I See It As Showing Respect For The Animal, Not Speaking Down To Them Like They

Are Inferior Or Just Plain Stupid, Believe Me, Animals Are A Lot Smarter Than Us Humans

    Give Them Credit For...... :)

    Cheers Glen.

No.....but if they did it all of the time....ummmm...I would wonder....

i mean it would not bother me...I like a male when he can show his softer, tender side, too.

If you notice, when a person baby talks to a child for instance, the frequency of the tone as they speak the words, goes from low to high. Exactly like other animals do when calling and comforting their young.

All animals are more comforted when they hear a tone that goes from low to high so it's quite natural for anyone to instinctively use this pattern of intonation when they are vocalizing with the intention of putting at ease or comforting another creature.

  10. I just wish my dog would return the affection. I think that's what I really want, for a dog to baby ME. Do women find that sexy?

I talk to our dogs the same way, maybe even more babyish actually. "Awww wassamatter?" And stuff like that. I definitely don't judge guys who do that. I actually think it's cute and shows their softer side.

Friend zone! I don't want to see or hear men do anything like that because it usually means they have other feminine traits and I find that very unattractive in the male species.

I yell loudly at my dog consistently in order to avoid the risk of losing the respect of women.
