ladies, what is your opinion of guys "getting wood" at the beach

i get erections and having a hard on very frequently when im naked with other special with women..i cant help it..it just goes hard and then after little time it may get soft again or stay longer hard if im sitting for much time with other naked women ..like with my aunt i have a boner all the time..had to masturbate after to come soft..and with my wife..

 

I don't get wood very often at the beach but on the odd occassion it has happened it has been brought on by messing around with a woman - not sex - but sometimes flirting or if a woman is particularly staring at me it can happen, once it happened while i was talking to a lady, in each situation it hasn't caused any upset, from the reactions and what was said they were actually pleased, but i wouldn't walk around with one and i would always offer to cover (refused each time, normally with a perplexed "why").

I am in pretty good shape, which i think is more appealing for women.

 

I reckon a few people saw my woody last Saturday afternoon (30/1) — one for certain — as I emerged from a swim at my local nude beach and a quick 'water wank'. Heck though, you see all sorts of things at a nude beach and yes, if one is in good shape, that would offset any perceived negative feedback. As I made my way back over the sprawling tidal flats, a woman in a sun shelter with her husband nearby approached me while I was still erect and I immediately thought "trouble!". But no! A silversmith, she asked about the thin gold fob chain chain around my neck which has a mountain bike on it: something I picked up on a family trip to New York in 1992 and highly treasured. The rest of me reflects all those years of biking.

 

It's only an issue for me if the guy is

a) staring at you or someone else while he's doing it. Looking is fine of course, but staring is creepy and rude- I don't want to be used by a stranger for some sexual purpose when I'm trying to relax at a beach. Or if he's

b) touching it.


Other than that it's perfectly natural and acceptable!

 

Reading through the responses, this is a better thread than I thought it would be when I clicked on it. I guess I have to take the middle of the road viewpoint in the discussion. Leaning more toward the naturist side of things, I've always sought to be non-sexual in my nudist activities and try not to get erections when I sense them coming on. I think most males with a good amount of sexual experience have the ability to exercise some control over their penises and can "think" away a hard-on if they want to. To me it just seems kind of obnoxious to walk around a nude beach for an extended period of time while fully erect. Of course, sometimes erections just happen but you don't go from flaccid to ready for penetration in mere seconds unless you're 18, so I would suggest discreetly heading back to your towel to lay on your stomach for a bit. Repressive? Perhaps, but it seems like good nudist etiquette to me.

And as for the comment that when one man gets erect, then several others are likely to ... well, I think there's probably some latent homosexuality in such situations. Permission to be turned on by one another, you could say. Most guys are far more "bi" than they are ever willing to admit.

but on a typical beach, you will have children. There is no reason to flaunt something like that in front of these little people. But equally, even on a nudist beach, the people there are attending such a beach to express the freedom of not having to wear clothes- a guy with a boner donates a person who isn't there for that reason, and is in fact perving on people.

I mean, to most nudists talking to someone else naked is just like talking with clothes on, no one would get boners or anything like that or that's what i'm inclined to believe.

But on a more personable level, I wouldn't be offended, I would probably laugh it off.

 

This is always going to be a difficult issue because it happens and sometimes it can be perfectly harmless and other times the guy might be a bit of a perve. The easiest answer is to say "cover them up" and "that it's disgusting" but i think that's very tough on the decent guys who get an erection. And although it's true to say that i wouldn't want to see most guys get an erection it is also true to say that i (and my girlfriends) have really enjoyed seeing some guys get hard. I like it when i've been with a bf and he gets hard - i think that's cool, i think it looks nice if a hot guy with his gf get's hard. And i've spent an afternoon on a beach with a male friend and another female friend - the guy kept on getting erections, which he was initially feeling awkward about, which was kind of making the situation awkward. And so that was my most memorable nude experience - for the record, none of us were/are sexually intimate with each other, just friends.

Personally, if i feel comfortable with a guy, i don't mind if he has an erection. And if they're in good shape a guy with an erection looks more attractive.

 

i always wondered how nudist guys manage to avoid getting an hard-on. now i believe instead that if one joins the naturist has to accept that as a part of the game as well, if on the other side someone else has problems with other guys around having erections, well, why the hell that person joined a nudist community in the first place ? it is like going to the beach and complaining about sand. it is a stupid and arrogant attitude that denies the very meaning of nudism. clothes are in use for some other reason beside staying warm and dry.

 

I've not had a problem in mixed company yet but Saturday the wife and I were laying by the pool, nude as usual. For some reason I started getting hard, I was not thinking sex thoughts and tried to change my thinking even more, but the hot sun and warm breeze did it's thing on me and I was standing tall. Since I was reclining and not laying flat it was standing straight up like a flag pool.
My wife asked what I was thinking about, I told her nothing sexual. Anyway I thought it would go down but didn't. If I'd been in mixed company I would have layed flat to make it lay more on my belly than straight up, rolled over, or gotten in the pool. But since it was just the two of us I let it stay that way.
Eventually it went down, but probably stayed that way a good 5+ minutes, for no apparent reason, so it just happens ladies.

My wife did say she liked seeing me erect at times by the pool, she said it looked nice vs the usualy flop around flaccid. I'd assume other women would feel the same as long as the guy was not acting weird.
