I'll get period pain maybe a day before I get the period, and then that only lasts about two-three days before it just gets super duper light and just kinda spots for a couple of days after that.

my sister sighed me up with this website

    http://mymonthlycycles.com/

it tracks everything. she said if you have spotting that means your period has not started yet only until it starts to become more then spotting. so I am having spotting right now starting to get a little bit more then that. I have been tracking my periods wrong this whole time I was counting when my period ends but you count the day it starts to know when your next period is. she said some women are 28 days or 31

I hate them. I get nauseous for a week or more, my boobs swell and become sore and tender. I have to keep extra size (B to C) bras just for my shark week so that I am comfortable :(

same here. I throw up starting 2 weeks prior to my period, I have fainted as well. The nausea and migraines seem to get worse the older I am and the anger and hatefulness is off the chart. I had been to the dr. about it previously and those fools told me nothing. They were no help whatsoever. I feel ok for about a week out of the month and that is it. So sick of being a woman.

I have polycystic ovaries, so even though I take pretty good care of myself now, any fluctuation of diet can cause a hormone imbalance and throw me off completely. Last month I missed mine entirely becauce of bad diet and then got it again this month right on time.

My periods have always been super irregular, it suits me lol. They change all the time and are often 1 or 2 weeks late. When they come they usually last 4 days. The cramps for me on the first are always terrible, they felt the same way intense labor contractions feel for me, sometimes I even throw up.

I've actually haven't had a period since August. That's a first. I've taken 4 pregnancy test, the last one being a couple weeks ago and they all were negative. Thank God, I honestly think it's because of a health issue as having pregnant before and realizing it before I even took a test, it doesn't feel the same way at all. I should go to a doctor, but I hate them.

Mother, have you ever heard of Quenn Anne's lace?

I've been on the pill for about four years now and I've had no problem. I used to feel really awful and nauseous and be in a lot of pain around that time in high school (or I was just 15) and I went on it and it stopped that. I've never been late, don't have side effects from the pill. I still get cramps though

I do worry about when I do choose to get pregnant, but I'm also told that long term use shouldn't affect it

The only thing I can rely on is having really bad PMS a week, sometimes 2 weeks before.
I get fooled EVERY time -- too, I feel very sad, like something is wrong, I don't know what it is -- I even have conversations with people about being down and depressed....then a couple days later, I realize it was just PMS...and I was fine!!!
Every time, I fall for it.

As far as cramping goes, it's different from month to month. I've had it so bad, I've been on the floor crying and crunched up...to sometimes having unbearable knee pain. Sometimes only one day of cramping..some times none.

It all sucks no matter what. And midol gives me major anxiety because of the high caffeine in it. so that sucks for me too.

I have felt ovulation. I can always tell when I'm about to ovulate because my sex drive goes into overrrrrr drive. It's a little obnoxious. Anyway there have been some instances where I could feel like a prick of pain and then noticed a mucus chunk (sorry) not long after in my panties or panty liner when I have ovulated. I am certain this is ovulation.

Also, I'm not on birth control pills and I only ever used them for a few months during high school. I've always used condoms or been single (when I am single, I don't get laid lol). The fact that I've never really used the pill, I'm sure, has an effect on my periods.

As far as my period, they come pretty regularly. It's usually moderate flow. I last about 4 days. I notice the blood is pretty bright red and thin.

I don't PMS very badly. There have been times when I experienced bad mood swings during PMS, and felt like I was possessed but that has balanced out. There are months when I am not clocking my period but it comes as a surprise to me - then once I check the calendar I notice its time.

Also, PMS is a sign of hormonal imbalance. You can actually balance your hormones through diet and get healthier periods. I'm posting a link for you to check out if you're interested:

I fall for it too, the mood swings! Lol

Mine is very irregular. It either comes 30 days from the end of my last period on the dot (haha pun), or it comes a week or two after that. It's stressful because many months I have to worry about being pregnant, and in turn the stress possibly lengthens the delay.

I'm on my period now, 36 days after the last one ended, but the one before that was 45 days after the last. And it was very heavy and painful. This one doesn't feel like anything.

I haven't really had a normal period in about 2 years. I was pregnant, then I breastfed and was on the mini pill so I didn't have a period for 11 months, and I've only had a couple sporadically since then. I'm about to take the depo provera shot and I probably won't have any after I take that.

I'm really iffy about taking the shot. I was never on birth control before I was pregnant and my periods were regular and pretty easy and painless. I haven't really felt like me since going on the mini pill and i know the shot is much worse, but I definitely don't want to risk anything either by not being on birth control.

it just has progesterone and no estrogen because estrogen can make breast milk dry up

Lol. Omg La Principessa I do that all the time. I started to tear up a few minutes ago watching 3 successful people talk to children at the Boys & Girls club. Because its inspiring and seeing less fortunate kids makes me sad. Then I catch myself swallowing hard like, this isn't even that sad of a scene lol.

Lol yess. I was watching Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel (Andrew Zimmern travels the world and shows the food and traditions of different cultures) and there was this part where Andrew was in Africa and they were doing this healing ritual and he got teary eyed during it. And then bam, I'm crying. lol

Careful of that. It can cause serious bone loss.

"While it has long been known that Depo-Provera causes bone loss, it has recently been discovered that the osteoporotic effects of the injection grow worse the longer Depo-Provera is administered, may remain long after the injections are stopped, and may be irreversible."

That is from wikipedia, but the info is readily available.

Why no try an IUD? I would go for copper, personally. No Hormones.
