Ladies are you offended by...

Nope, I dont think I've been offended. I think each women is beautiful in her own way, and I don't know why I would be upset about it... Theres no need, because I'm comfortable with who I am and my appearance.

Women compete to be pretty. Sometimes unconsciously, even if you think your better than that. The reasons? my guess would be brainwashing. On tv, the movies, anything that attempts to replicate real life scenerios's, we see the "prettiest girl" as the star, the one who wins. It doesn't matter how smart or witty she is (usually) as long as she has package, the round butt, perfect boobs, slim waist, long legs, and perfect smile. (the truth is these movie girls spend all day shaping up to look like that, something the regular lady does not have time or money for) So when we see a girl we may perceive as pretty or prettier than ourselves we want to compete, and when we can't compete we get angry, bc in our mind they already won.

Guys compete too, just usually over different stuff.

pretty girls are a dime a dozen. It's something deeper that usually makes a woman BEAUTIFUL

 

I only get offended when they say something that offends me. Like this one girl I had a course with last semester said to me, "it must have really sucked for you in high school. I mean, prettier girls just have it so much easier."
Oh, and I can't forget the popular girl in jr high who said, "you're too ugly to have an opinion," when I tried to offer my thoughts on something the class was discussing.
For the most part, I don't really care. I used to be intimidated by them when it came to guys...but the level of attractivness didn't really matter so much, I was just completely insecure.
It's all kind of relative who i think is "more attractive" than me. People are people. Everyone has their own unique sense of beautiful if you ask me. I would say that I would be more indimidated by a woman with a ton of confidence and a good personality to be honest!

 

oh, GOD. my sister in law used to really set my teeth on edge. and it was because she'd say the most awful little things, cutting little remarks, but the bitch of it was: she really didn't know what she was doing. no shit. she had no idea. she was just so used to getting away with saying awful things because she was hot. it would REALLY bug her when guys would show up for me or check me out (before i was married) and she'd just let fly with her ABSOLUTE CONFUSION that i would be attractive to them. she used to give me a headache, but i loved her anyway.

 

Insecurity. Thats what it is.

Just because your pretty doesn't mean your nice, just as if your "ugly" doesn't mean your not a nice person.

I have to admit that while having a particularly nasty fat day, I did tell a 90lb piece of driftwood to "shut up and go eat a cheeseburger". But that particular "skinny bitch" is my friend, and she had it coming... complaining that her size 2 pants were too loose. She's lucky i didn't slap her! haha!

While "pretty girls" don't bother me, skinny ones do sometimes. Since having my son I have had a hard time loosing the extra weight, and am really subconsious about it. I used to be quite slim, and now am substancially more substancial. I look at my size 5 jeans and dream of the days when they fit.

Everyone is pretty in their way, true. I just wish I was 15 pounds lighter... haha.

 

hehehehehehe!! i totally know. even at my healthiest i never got below a 6. and i was ROCKING HOT. *sigh* and after i had my baby it would drive me nuts listening to my friends talking about how fat they were, even when there wasn't an extra ounce of fat on any of them. they were glorious women and they still felt fat and ugly. they would all grope me and run up against me and tell me how gorgeous i was, but they thought THEY were fat. but now they've all had children, and even the ones who lost ALL their baby weight still have wider hips and butts than they used to, so i don't have to listen to it anymore. and may i say, they're GORGEOUS!

 

It depends..I wouldn't really care..if they are attractive enough..I will be attracted to them..if I'm jealous of someone, I will say so striaght up..but I really am only jealous of a woman I think the guy I like will like..I'm going to be completely honest..I do get offended when some women are more attractive than me..but then again..im a dumb ass jealous 1..so I don't count.!

 

Unfortunately I had a relationship that was very power struggley on both ends, and when another girl would enter the equation (ie/ looked at, talked about) I became quite the jealous type. I think its because my stomach woul turn to acid when i lost control and feared the end.

Im not really into that though. I like my self. I like also, to take care of my self in and outside, and when one does so, beauty can truly shine through. Its deinfately not jus ton the outside.

for me, i know im pretty. ahaha therefor i dont really care if i see another girl that is "pretty" because everyone has thier own definition of beautiful and what not. im pretty happy with myself as a person and when u see that in someone, thats when u can see the true beauty thats on the inside and out.

however, there are SOOOOO many gorgeous people both male and female in boulder and most of the time i chose to look at them because it makes me happy.. hahaha

the only thing that pisses me off is when girls spend thousands of dollars on boob jobs (im a 28 a.....) or when they spend hours straightening their hair or putting on make up ( i have reaally curly hair naturally and i dont do anything to it because it makes me unique and i like it like that. and i dont wear alot of make up either... most days i just roll out of bed and im done)

if you ask any man, they will tell you that theyd actually RATHER be with a thicker woman than a stick thin aneorexic one... trust me. and to hear a dude say that is really awesome. haha

i dont judge people by the way they dress or the size that they are... and to me thats one of the most pleasurable things in life. i think that all women are beautiful and im not afraid to say it..

I'm not phased at all because I know that there will always be people out there who are considered more attractive than others and it doesn't matter to me, really, in the slightesy because external beauty is not a big thing at all. We are all going to get old and wrinkly someday and I'm embracing it.

 

no, because everyone's pretty in some way or another. it doesnt bug me, i just say "good for her!" no sense in losing sleep over someone who might be slimmer than me or anything.

 

Really pretty girls seem to hate me. I dont know why - too geeky? Ugly? idk. For a while it was just easier for me to strike before they did. Attack is the best form of defenc i guess, but that was a while ago. Its hard to know if they'll shoot ya down or be nice.

I do wish i was pretty but i dont have to look at myself so why should i care?

You hve nice hair anyways. They dont so they'll change it, they probably just want to be prettier or hate their hair etc.

 

Being physically beautiful looks too much like work, so I just admire the ones who are willing to do it. I have bigger fish to fry.

 

I am offended by stupid people (not mentally challenged, but just plain stupid), people who talk over me at work, lazy people who do not do their work, people who are unassertive, insubordinate, sloppy dressers, slutty dressers, immature, innapropriate, underestimating, habitualy late, cheap, wearing fake diamond earing that are not even of a realistic size, criticize my driving even though my car seats the most so they ask if I can drive
Sometimes these people happen to be pretty. We have one very prtty girl at work who asked me if she could interview for the promotion coming up. I told her yes, just because I wanted to make I was not discriminating against her because she was beautiful. But after thinking about it she went over her Coordinator's head and came to me to bitch about her, she got written up for texting on her cell phone all day and she wears giant fake diamond earings. Those are the real reasons I am adverse to her. So in this case she actually got preferential treatment6 because she is pretty.

 

i like gaudy jewelry. it's fun to me. like obnoxiously huge cocktail rings. maybe you should let that one go. they're just a fun, silly accessory.
