So I've been dealing with a high lack of energy lately. It gets very hot where I work, up to 20 degrees hotter than outside. And it's hard work. I sweat all freakin day and when I get home I don't have the energy to do anything.

Take yesterday for example. When I got home from work at 5:00pm and planned on relaxing for an hour or so while soaking up some air conditioning, and then do some stuff around the house. Before I knew it, I was waking up on my couch and it was 1:00am. I barely had enough energy to make it to bed and sleep the rest of the night. This is not uncommon.

Does anyone know of any specific foods I can eat, or maybe some supplements that will help? I drink plenty of water throughout the day, and rarely drink any sodas. Excercise has lifted my energy in the past, but to be honest most days I'm so exhausted after work hitting the gym is the furthest thing from my mind. But work itself does provide a lot of excercise.

Take a good multi vitamin. Also if you have a juicer, use it. I used to eat like shit and started doing those two things and my energy shot way up. I'm sure theres other things you can do to but those are soem things I personally reccommend.

replenish your salt and potassium as you sweat. avoid caffeine.
try lighter foods with high energy, Rice < the VC kicked our ass on Rice alone..
take a Tylenol. it will help your brain deal with the heat a little better. it will not make you cooler/ like reducing fever. but the action is similar.

you drink to much water. you are washing out vitamins and minerals.. use gatoraid, but split it 1/2 with water to much gator aid will make your potassium levels to high, give you a bad headache..

When it's really hot or I've overworked, a cool shower first thing sets me up for a bit better energy.

    Then green juices.
