I'm sure that a lot of us already know what I'm talking about, anyway:

It is a beautiful french fantasy movie about a small perfect and highly evolved planet where mankind reached pinnacle balance with environment and advanced evolution, being able to unlock mind powers such as telepathy, star travel and high intelligence. There are many planets like that, but planet earth is regarded as unfriendly, cruel and barbaric so they periodically send someone to help (Jesus Christ, Johann Sebastian Bach...) with little to no effect. No one of them really likes to deal with earthlings but since a new check was long overdue a volunteer is finally sent as volunteer (a woman who was... kind of an illegal alien from earth, brought in in secret while still a small child), equipped with a set of extra utility powers to "disconnect" people and free their minds from cultural conditioning and biases. Also to get out of troubles if necessity arises (all the time).

"Disconnection" is... a bit traumatic, leading people to have epiphanies about life, personal relations, family life, authority, consuming meat, and even... shoes. Have a look about minute 1 of the trailer where after being "disconnected" some Parisian guy snaps at his own shoes like: "I'M FED UP WITH THESE THINGS ! THEY HURT ME !!"
It is a little lovey-dovey gentle and light hippie fable that deserves a watch, trust me it is fun.
