Kurt Cobain is an Asshole

Kurt wrote simplistic songs, and knew all of 3 chords on a guitar. Including his power chords.

You people really talk out of your ass, with the exception of a few. And it seems to me you dont understand who Kurt cobain was at all. yes he did have a rough childhood, but i mean which one of us hasnt? He was not bipolar, i dont kno where anyone heard that, it is false. His moodiness was due to a stomach disease which had gone long undiagnosed throughout his life, which was the result of a pinched nerve from sculiosis (sry dunno how to spell)...anyway, most of the time he couldnt eat, he threw up blood, suffered terrible pains, and it attacked him at completely random times. This, lead to his use of herion, b/c he was given something for pain from a doctor, but it wasnt enough, and i dont know about you but if i was living in constant suffering i would do anything, even heroin to eleviate it. Anyway, after the problem was diagnosed, he did clean up his act, got off heroin, and prepared for the birth of his beautiful daughter. He did not kill himself. I wont go into it all b/c i will end up writing for ever about it, but i can simply direct you to www.cobaincase.com which is the website of Tom Grant, the private investigater who initiated the whole conspiracy... also www.justiceforkurtcobain.com on both these sites you will find police reports, case documents, crime scene photos, and testimonials, etc. I highly recommend reading this, and purchasing the book "Love and Death". And also, people, i just cant see how you can put down one of the greatest musical revolutionarys of our time, or any time for that matter. Kurt was a sensitive, intuitive, genius. And no, he did not only know how to play 3 chords on guitar, maybe he was slightly a minimalist, and yes, nirvana was a band heavly influenced by 70's punk, but only 3 chords? cmon (if u wanna get basic, teenspirit is 4...well u can play with 5 chords). SO before you people on here who obviously have no respect or heart for Kurt, think about the fact that without him, or nirvana, most of the music you listen to today, might not be there. And come on, stop relaying on the media to feed you an image, stop watching mtv, get to reading, investigate, help see justice gets done, Put Courtney away. Protest her, i did at a show this yr, and believe me, many many people agree with this case, and have done their reading and research, its only a matter of time before the case is reopened. Remember...dead men dont pull triggers.

 

Go back to your Britney Spears records... leave the era defining genre stlying GENIUS alone,
I understand that this is an opinion forum, but why dont you go rant about someone who is still making music, and leave this be.

Kurt Cobain cuold hardly play guitar, yet I am many thousands of other people ADORE nirvanas music...many of us love every second and every syllable to veer come out of a nirvana album......

Kurt was a genius...he grew up through extremely difficult circumstances and no matter what anyone says/thinks, this is a FACT, nirvana were a fantastic band with a huge fan base (as they still have) and i thnk that the guy who started this post should keep his fucking opinions to his self concerning someone who he knows has plenty of fans on here.....

kurt didn't kill himself.....If you look hard enough you will find that it has been researched and almost proven that he didn't.........

 

i checked out the cobain case site, about a year ago. since then, i've been more partial to the murder theory. it seems to add up.

but, really, i try not to concern my life with it too much, anymore. if someone thinks that they can get the case reopened, and maybe actually solved, then great. go for it. i would love to see justice done.

 

Totaly agree with you man its just a pity some on this forum cant get their facts right before slating a man of genius like kurt. Seems to me like the idiot who started this thred just wanted to cause a reaction. to brocktoon get a life and maybe listen to some of nirvanas material you may but i doubt it learn a thing or two about trully great music

 

Cobain was depressive and suicidal...it seems there's a thread of "suicide by gun" that runs through his family, and it affected him. He talked about suicide repeatedly; he spoke of how he wanted to die. These oppressive feelings came out in his music, which is why the music is undeniably powerful.

Read HEAVIER THAN HEAVEN and you'll see just how suicide-prone his family was. He may have been a junkie, and he may have been severely depressed, but he was no asshole.....

 

"heavier than heaven" huh? yea, did you know that book was written with courtney loves complete control over what was printed? better get some better reading materials.

 

It's pointless judging someone like that. Life is a completely different experience for each person. Concentrate on your own life. If everyone did that there'd be no copy-cat suicides and a lot less bitching and moaning in general. Enjoy the music if you like it. If you don't then listen to something else.

He's not an ass for telling the truth... Kurt Cobain was just a weasley little twat who built a career on whining and then whined about having to deal with all the awful fame and corruption. You should all be glad that he's out of his misery.....or whatever.

 

Kurt Cobain became a rock star.....I'd like to see anyone on these boards accomplish that.

Like him or hate him, he certainly struck a chord with millions of people...he reached a level of fame that no one has reached since in music, not nearly anyone could do that.

If a person wants to kill themselves, then the person should be allowed to do so, why does that piss anyone off?

 

Hey if someone decides to redecorate their greenhouse using their brains, they are hardly deserving of any criticism/judgement in my book, regardless of who they were, what they said or did during their lifetime.

 

Here is what it comes down to, either you get it or you don’t. And the quickest way to show you don’t get it is to criticize it. I grew up in the heart of the so-called “generation X” and I was big into grunge as were most of the outcasts in my generation. To make such a bold statement as calling a dead man; whom you knew not in the least, an asshole, that is just plain ignorant in my book. It would be like me saying that, Allen Jackson married is cousin and fucks sheep, just because he is a country singer, and I don’t like his “lets make millions off the 9/11 tragedy” shit. If you don’t have anything nice to say; or even remotely intelligent, try keeping the thought to yourself, mmmmk thx….

Hmm... I've never been a fan of Nirvana anyway. I don't care for the crappy guitar sound. Besides... Fender Mustangs were student guitars from the 60s. Go figure.
