Kosher Chicken

    Never eally gave it much thought beofre since I raise my birds for eggs and don't follow Kashruth. The birds forrage outside, but are given a balanced diet when they are housed. The diet includes oyster shells. If the birds eat oyster shells does that mean they are not able to be Kosher birds... even if they are killed in a Kosher manner?
