I asked seven pigs what they thought of pigs that weren't pink...they all responded "squeee". I think they are prejudice against squees.

Just because we all occupy one planet don't mean we all have to like one another.

Racism is just an expression of wealth inequality as far as I'm concerned. The most racist people I know are all black. I've even had ten black guys causally cut in line in front of fifty people and defy anyone to stop them. I've been threatened countless times with violence by blacks attempting to get whatever they want however they can through intimidation. I don't blame them, as far as I'm concerned, their behavior is nothing more than a reflection of the realities of life in America where either your money does all the talking or the gun. Quite often I'd rather the gun does all the talking simply because its more honest.

    As for the intelligence comment.
Let's say (it could be any race. I am using this one because I am white and grew up in a black neighborhood)
a genius kid walks home every day and every day gets beat up by a gang of black kids. They yell things like 'move to the burbs cracker'... 'I fucker your sister last night casper'... 'I'm the one who stole your dog, white devil' as they are kicking him in the gut as he lay balled up on the ground.

Would it be understandable if he grew up hating people black people?

Let's say he's a white kid growing up in a white neighbourhood, and gets beat up by white kids - should he grow up hating whites? Or violent idiots?

It might depend. Are all the white kids jocks? Would he grow up hating jocks? And it would be strange for a gang of white kids to yell "cracker" as they beat up a white kid.

No. In today's racial climate he should only accept his beatings and realize that his white cracker privilege has a price.

After all, Zimmerman was expected to keep getting his head smashed into a sidewalk and had NO right to defend himself, especially with a gun.

THAT is how twisted things are today and it has all come about because of people's "feelings". It has nothing to do with logic or truth.

I have encountered racist people before but I wouldn't say I know them.

    Understandable? Sure

Justified and fair? Not really, but i think a lot depends on his environment as an adult. Maybe he'll move to a diverse, economically stable area where he'll encounter black people every day who will challenge his preconceived notions. Maybe this will happen eventually even if he stays in the same neighborhood. Or maybe he'll move to a white majority area where people will either agree with his beliefs or show him that anyone can be a shitty person regardless of race. Who knows.

I think to a certain extent we're all victims of our circumstances. Our minds can only be open to the extent we're exposed to different walks of life.

But i also think in this day and age it is getting harder to use circumstance as an excuse to be a hateful, ignorant person. That goes for all races.

Now, as for the intelligence comment, i feel i should point out a low IQ does not a hateful racist make, and likewise not all intelligent people are open to different races and cultures
