there are lots of beliefs of what people think this is..this is what the bible says: Daniel 2:44 In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever
There is much more to what the Kingdom of God is but then you are probably, just encouraging others to give their opinions.
Yes, at least hoping. But yes the Kingdom of God is so much more. A spiritual government over the earth with Jesus Christ as King. Where human governments have failed terribly over the centuries. Jehovahs government will stand till times indefinite and the earth will be filled with happy, healthy, perfect humans, eventually.. Revelations 21:3, 4 says: With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Who will elect the Jesus you believe in and how can he distinguish himself? Scriptures say we must recognize him without the miracles that he used in the past? Also, you seem to be placing the kingdom of God as outside of you. That being the case, what do these quotes mean to you? John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren I see myself as a brethren to Jesus. Don't you? Regards DL
That was a divisive thing to say, topped off with the "don't you" question. Jesus doesn't approve of such language. As for Jesus, he will not be the king, although the bible does refer to him as the "king of kings". The reality is that Jesus is the Prince. God the Father is King. Jesus has authority over the kings of the earth (who are all plotting against him, including many in the Vatican), but even still he is the Prince of Creation. God has ultimate jurisdiction.
"The kingdom of the Father is spread out everywhere upon the Earth and people do not see it." Gospel of Thomas, Saying 113.
"Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom" Luke 12:32 This was spoken by Jesus after he described the beauty of the lillies of the field that didn't need fancy clothes to make them that way. The kingdom would be full acceptance of oneself and everything as it is. No blame or judgment.
The Kingdom of Heaven, or Paradise, is the center of all universes. It is where our first Father resides primarily. There is also a power structure. ref. link
But not factual material. So why present it like that? Or didn't you mean to make it come across as fact?
We've been over that. I don't mean to say it can't be as real as a fact to you but that doesn't make it a fact. I hope you understand how that works, it helps to communicate even more clear.
I didn't ask that question in the first place to diss you. It was a serious question. Just because a theory is intriguing or plausible does not mean that makes it more worthwile to present it as factual. But I'm not sure why you bring it like that, so that's why I asked if you ment for your post to be taken like that. It still stands if you feel like answering it!
were talking philosophy here dude.... like really why do you care so much about stone cold facts. maybe youll figure some out reading the material I posted, here, start here: http://www.urantia.org/urantia-foundation/history
It is apparently subjective what an useful and worthwile addition to the thread is. I don't think I'm the only one that feels when a theory is posted as fact when it isn't one often makes such a post less useful on itself. Especially when another person comes in and wonders about how that post was ment and the poster merely gets defensive and in denial about the fact that it isn't a fact. In fact it seems someone would only present it as such to make it APPEAR more worthwile or useful than it otherwise would be perceived.. So that's why I was asking. Your reaction is not only funny but can also be described as typical and pointless.
