I still prefer to read an actual book.

I like my kindle very much. I like the fact that I can sit at home and instantly download a book when I buy it. It's also light and actually easier to hold than a lot of thicker books.

I still like books though, and there's a certain amount of stuff that isn't yet available on the Kindle.

They are also taking the p**s a bit with some of the pricing. When a new title comes out in hardback, the Kindle edition is often more expensive than waiting for the paperback release, which does seem a bit like profiteering.

I'm dying to get a Kindle. I love books though. I love the feel of the pages and how they smell, but I hate clutter. I have too much junk and too many books as it is. It'd be nice to get an e-reader of some kind and have all of my books in one device.

I don't class books as clutter though. Knowledge trumps material possession. Any book case looks good when it contains books no matter how they're stacked, someone will be intrigued and go looking.

Well I didn't mean to put down the value of knowledge by classifying them as clutter. But for me, I've been moving around a lot the past few years and it gets difficult to keep my book collection intact because there are so many of them, it's impossible not to misplace a few here and there or leave some behind. I want to keep them in a convenient medium, not get rid of them altogether.

i love my old school version one Nook. I read lots of paper books, but it's always cheaper to download books for free, and the newer eReaders are too like tablets.... i want a Nook that all it does is read books. plus with my eyesight EInk is easier on my eyes.

The screens on the newer ones look more like actual paper than a "screen"..

I have a kindle and I love reading on it, it's very convenient to have a huge library with me every time I travel. I enjoyed reading from it while travelling by plane and train.

I love actual books and held off getting a kindle for a long time. For traveling and stuff, a kindle is much easier. Plus I like reading samples before getting the actual book, so that helps.

Oh yeah, on topic: I don't have experience with any of them :p After my daily computering I am done with screens. Don't wanna read a book on one.

i save money on books by downloading free ePubs.... you can find almost any book online. and the nook is so tiny it fits in my purse and yet i can switch freely between tomes!
