killing 200 geese in CT

i was using it as an example, figure of speech type thing. im not saying people go out and shoot dogs, well some might, but just becuz the geese are wild and have no place to go but in greenwhich, then make a place for them, or something. and yes i think sometimes dogs are becoming over popullated, but people keep them as pets. in some countries there are way too many dogs, have you ever watched the discovery or national geographic channel? people need to learn that its not the animals fault for going into big cities(like the geese or mountain lions, or lions, tigers) its our fault. we are verywere and they only live in certain places. but those places are now being built over. so were are they supposed to go? this is another reason for extinction. open your eyes a little.

 

Yes, of course it's our fault for having the birds over populate some areas. But also there are no real predators for them anymore. On my land in the mountains.. we basically eradicated mountain lions because they ate everybody's chickens. And that was our food. We need to survive. Now, they almost overpopulate and have now been known to take dogs out and rip them apart. Problem is, we made a problem by getting rid of these ponds. But I say we look to the present solution. Shoot the damn things... donate them for a nice goose roast for a homeless guy... hell, they don't taste great but they sure can be a good meal. If we have not enough room to accomodate for the geese.... start killing them. Make a population worthy of how many ponds and homes that can hold so many birds.
