When kids "age out" of the foster system in the US they're usually on their own. But they often don't have jobs or education or money. A parent of child will usually at least let him or her stay at home until they get a job. Doesn't a foster parent have the same responsibility?

No, they don't... and it's too sad for words. Churning out babies with no future, no family, no basic foundations in life. Yet speak of abortion! Horrors! Sometimes it is best not to bring that bundle of joy into an uncaring world. At least allow birth control...and proper education.

Nope. The Foster system is strict, once they are 18 they are adults, and the Foster parents no longer get support for them. If the Foster parent wants to let them stay, they have to supply room & board out of their own pocket.
OF course, once they age out, they can apply for Cash Aid and Food Stamps. They can then get bus tokens and help from the employment office to find work.
