I always went to the doctors and they tested me for UTI's constantly and I never had one ever. I always went to the bathroom when I had too and I always made sure I drank plenty of water all the time. I've ever cut soda out of my diet. My diet on the other hand hasn't been the best and I admit to that. Now I'm trying to eat healthier. Two days I had sex and I was fine, no UTI or bladder infections. The pain in my stomach, side and back hurt began hurting before I had sex. So how did this develop? Also is it safe to have sex during this? I've been checked for all STD's and everything is negative. I had a full panel done this year, I always make sure I test myself every year to make sure I'm fine. Especially when I get new boyfriend's and have them get tested as well.
When I first became sexually active, I started to have UTIs. The doctor told me that it's the introduction of foreign bacteria to your urethra. He told me that my body was not use to bacteria that were not harmful to my partner but seemed foreign to my body. He also told me that the wall between the vagina and urethra is thin as paper and that is why the bacteria can travel to your bladder after vaginal sex. For a while I went on a daily antibiotic called Macrodantin.
Also, making an effort to pee before and after sex is helpful in flushing bacteria out, keeping it from moving in the wrong direction.
rough oral sex to female genitals causes them .. try wiping down with clean water and peeing after. drink some cranberry juice..
Yr title mentions kidney infections, which are a different order of hellishly painful compared to UTI or even bladder infections. I have had sex with a kidney infection. We were gentle, but it still made the pain worse (jostling about and all). Mostly I was too nauseous to entertain the idea, although my partner thought the fever contrast was, well, hot. A round of antibiotics and a couple weeks of being careful in overall activities set it right.
