What was the purpose the cow died of a broken back? Sounds like a dumb analogy to me. But I agree, death goes better when it has a purpose. When the docs told my brother he was dying of cancer, he gave his own death a purpose--modelling the dying process for the rest of us. And it seemed to help him through.
