Mmm, that does sound pretty damn awesome Kayaking during a red tide is on my list, that looks so epic too. I do recommend riding some white water though, so much fun. I know down here there are some river trips that you can do that last for a couple days to a week, camping on the riverbanks and just completely chillaxing. I bet there are some groups that do it over in the states, I highly highly recommend going on one. Takes a bit of organising with transport, cos you start in a completely different area than you end up.. but so worth the effort. And ja, totally spectacular Pork.. Crazy world :sunny:
well, i do usually go in. i rarely just go kayaking, i usually do it as part of a day at the beach. i think the place i usually set out from is probably still too muddy to get into right now anyway. would be interesting to go a few miles north into the lake to where it's still an ice sheet. not really worth it to me though.
I like kayaks. Its amazing how quick they are. Altho' the true racing ones take a little getting used to.. hehe. I love the sea air and stuff too. Maybe one day I'll get into yachting/motor cruising. I like the idea of the freedom of the sea. A bit like flying , but a more relaxed pace.
i want to but the kayaks for bigger guys are way too expensive for the amount of use id get... been looking for a used sit on prowler big game 2 but very hard to find i would just do calm lakes...no whitewater shit for me im too old for that

Hahaha! Looked like the goose was getting revenge for the fish. I wonder how one becomes a pro kayak angler. Sounds like my kind of profession.
I just went to kayak.com i was not happy with the results. I think its because easter everyone is traveling.
