In it's most simplest terms, karma is nothing but cause and effect. Action, reactions. No judgement on the action. Because it is cause and effect - every action results in karma. Ultimately on an earthly scale it would be impossible in anyway to predict karma. There are too many variables to follow the near infinite cause/effects that are going on all at once. With that nickle and a paradigm, we could have a quarter! Unless of course you're a pagan that believes in three-fold law: Those folks have obviously found an actual karmic formula to come up with an actual numerical factor there. (or they just picked three arbitrarily 'cause it's 'a sacred number' and sounds nice) Although I would say the latter, I've met those who literally believe in the former.
Seriously? I'll have to add that to my notebook of beaver facts because as you can see from the attached photo, I'm a dues paying member of the Beaver Research Foundation.
Yes i believe in karma. What goes around comes around. Ying and the yang and alll that shit. "All energy flows according to the whims of the great magnet". Life is just positive and negative energies being sent between us. Send negative energy and expect to receive negative energy back. Remaining positive and sending positive energies and you are more likely to receive positive energies.
Seriously. It looks not bad either. I'm also a member of the beaver research foundation, but I refuse to pay for it...
Oh, it's actually a real thing? I was just making a sexual innuendo, I thought you just made that up because of your hat. What does one do as a member of this foundation? Beavers are pretty interesting animals, fortunately I can often see quite a few around here. Excellent, I found the video! It's from this Canadian tv show where this native guy tries to get back to his roots. Anyways, you can watch him make it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l6_1Eh57qI"]YouTube - Fish Out of Water Oujebougomou and Beaver Tails
I watched that show last week. There's some decent stuff on APTN, especially for folks interested in getting back in touch with nature. As for karma. I'd like to believe it because, along with reincarnation, it's neat and tidy and explains much. But it doesn't explain everything.
Yes there is. I like it, a lot of it is often in French, but I watch it anyways. I really like that their culture has largely remained unaffected by ours and that they've stuck with most of their traditional ways and values. I think it really says something about the character of their people. In case anyone else reads this and doesn't know what APTN is, it's a Canadian television channel. 'APTN' stands for 'Aboriginal People's Television Network'.
Not wanting to be the bearer of bad news the foundation does not exist, but the hats are rare, only thru reps the worked for the company of that name. They did give us calanders every year with beaver facts for each month, wouldn't do girly calendars for some reason. So I have learned a lot about beavers and that was an interesting video.
