three things i find highly questionable:

1- that anything infallable has ever walked the face of this earth or any other world or ever will

2- that anything in its right mind would ever have the slightest desire to be worshipped

3- that if anything greater then ourselves wished us any particular harm we would (even exist to) be having this conversation.

this makes it pretty obvious, at least to me, that all speculation as to its nature and origen begins in speculation and ends in speculation.

a couple of secondary therefores we can extract from all that is that first of all, whatever 'god' is, if ever god is, at the very least it wishes us no particular harm.

there is also no natural requirement for the nontangable to not exist, and exist in some real way, no merely theoreticly. though agin neither a requirement to exist at all nor in any form anyone has ever believed or immagined.

the diversity of reality suggests the work or either more then one mind and or possibly even mindless proccess.

the simutanious existence of ourselves and entropy in the same universe suggests some sort of conterentropic force of some kind. yes i know empirical pureists will point out this is no absolute proof of the existence of anything and of course it isn't. but it is highly suggestive.

so what does this leave us with for what god is.

nontangable but possibly even probably real, so unimmaginable that even the question of singular or multiple becomes meaningless, loving and wishing us well.

the last is only thinly suggested other then anicdotaly and even that some cannot be disuaded from taking into question.

there doesn't have to be a god. but there doesn't have to not be.

where does the 'us' come into it. i don't know. its a big universe out there and it is encridibly collectively arrogant of ourselves as a species to immagine it was all created for, revolves arround, or even has diddily to do wity, ourselves.

everything anyone has everbelieved could be true, all at the same time, however contradictory some of it may seem, but keep in mind that everything everyone has ever immagined, certainly everything anyone on this world, and possible everyone on every world where there is anyone, is still a teeneey tiney infintisimaly micro fraction of the nearly limitless diversity of possibilities that exist.

in short god, or gods, or the supreme and ulitmate council of gods that speaks with the one voice we call god et c., COULD be almost absolutely anything, with the exception of:

wishing us any particular harm
having the slightest desire to be worshipped
or being infallable
or at least infallable in tangable form
or any part of it being infallable while in tangable form
and most especialy:
being exactly what anyone (even myself, let alone any and all organized beliefs that attempt to name or describe it) thinks it is!
