I don't like his music, but good on him for making his millions. He came from a very modest upbringing, and seems like a nice enough guy.
I don't think most people that hate him do so because of his personality, after all most people don't know him in person at all. They probably hate him because he is just another shitty pop icon making money off gullible people. I can't imagine him making money of off me but to know so much other people willingly spend money on his rubbish is a bit unsettling if you really can't see anything great about what he is famous for. So yeah, he has every right to earn so much this way and I can't blame him for doing so. I guess my dislike lies more with the fact 'stars' are made with money and promotion and not always because of talent or taste but rather because it is shoved by most peoples throat, which naturally generates some dislike for the people who think it is all pretty cool. That being said, there is a person with family and friends behind this product so killing him seems kind of extreme right.

I don't hate Justin Beiber...I just hate what he's doing to music ''along with many others''. With that said, I wish no ill on him. I don't wish for him to die or anything like that to ever happen...Perhaps his career could die? I would be happy with that.
I do not hate Bieber either, I just hate the fact that he is simply famour because of his looks and image and not because of any talent that he has, if he has any. It shows that the days when people who became famous because they somehow deserved it are over.
I feel bad for the kid sometimes, even though hes filthy rich and famous, hes so hated by so many. But its true that hes become like an icon of whats wrong with the music/entertainment industry...
It's not black and white. I'm not a "fan" of anybody, but there's some music I like. John lennon was pretty good. I don't need to transfer MORE positive opinion to lennon in order to dislike bieber. As a musician, and as a tool, even if he's not a bad human being at the core. So, no, I'm nobody's fan, I just don't like bieber, or the culture that he stands for or a lot of things about him, like his fake life in general. There's no reason that my opinion of him should depend on or be related to my opinion of any other celebrity ever. Or any other person ever. I don't respect bieber because he's a tool, and it has nothing to do with how much of a tool anyone else is or was. (lennon was a tool about some of his personal life, but his music was good. bieber's a tool about both, just for instance.) Vladamir lennin was a total tool in every way. My lack of respect for him does not mean that I respect john lennon more. I just don't have a finite amount of respect to dole out like that. I don't need idols. Of course, I don't think anyone should kill bieber. I do think someone should gift him a megadose of LSD.
Lately he has been upset because he and Selena have broken up. He has indicated that clearly life isn't going as he would like it to go. Perhaps that will make some happy.
It makes me sad for our society. Oh noes, a teenage breakup. I don't think I know anyone who has not gone through one of those. Why is bieber's so special? *edit* I remember why his breakup is special. He has a ferarri.
