Justice Dept. memo lets feds shut down pot dispensaries

The restrictions, Stemler wrote, bar the department “from impeding the ability of states to carry out their medical marijuana laws, not from taking action against particular individuals or entities, even if they are acting compliant with state law.”

Problematic at the very least. 23 States and Washington D.C. have legalized medical marijuana. Now they want to intervene? I feel so stupid opposing them, but at the same time sometimes you have to be the voice of reason and speak up for your rights.

Something being a law does not make it ethical or right. It was one law that black people were two thirds of a person. A true American follows his own moral compass. This silly foot dragging by law enforcement is just a last ditch attempt to save their revenue from the war on drugs.
