i just had orientation the past two days for incoming freshman and wow, sometimes i really dont get people. I had a pretty good time and met people from all over the US (including a girl i used to go to middle school with and another who lives a few towns over from me) and other countries as well. it was a lot of fun and i made some good friends but two girls were actually sent home for violating the drug and alcohol policy. one girl told another girl about the booze she had back in her dorm room right infront of an RA and was immediately busted. another girl skipped mass to smoke pot in either her dorm room or the bathroom and the smoke detector went off. how dumb can you be? they both had their parents called, are in a shitload of trouble, and most likely are getting kicked out of the school. i heard one of their mothers screaming on the phone and i think she has everyright to be pissed off. this is by no means a cheap school just the tuition alone without room and board is a little over 31grand and her daughter is probably getting kicked out of college before it even started. i dont see how the girls couldve been so careless and obvious about what they were doing
Well, that really sucks..Not cheap. There is a part of me that completely gets skipping mass to get stoned though. I wonder how sensitive their fire alarms are? Could've pulled the battery.
oh yeah skipping mass to get stoned doesnt sound bad at all but you gotta atleast be smart about it. i skipped mass too (not into the whole church thing) and im sure there were other people who did the same thing lol they just didnt get caught
31 grand, not including room and board-incredible. I didn't know there was a school in the country that was that expensive. I went to a private Catholic college for a while and the tuition was about half that. Amazing. Let me guess: Boston University (used to call it Boston College).
31,000 9is pretty much the going rate for most private colleges, or more even my school was about 7 or 8
