it's no better then people saying that we should be in iraq because of saddam.

we are not all the people you see on tv.

I have to agree. I'm from Canada, and so many people here say that they hate americans. It drives me up the wall!! I always say "They're just like us" and people think I'm nuts!!

 

It´s stereotyping and it´s done with every country. It´s just that people really hate America right now and it makes it easy for them to demonize the whole place.

I hate it when people stereotyp all Americans as rich, especially when a quarter of the country doesn´t even have health insurance.

 

Canadians are just really weird when it comes to national pride. But so are Americans. Canadians actually seem to be more arrogant, though. Fortunately, there are some smart Canadians like Fizzy who don't buy into the rhetoric of their peers.

i love this country just not the government...but the land is great...warm places...cold places...deserts...forests...ocean...the great lakes...ahhh what a great place to live...im just dissapointed in not all but some of the MAJOR dissisions the government has been making

also most of the people i know are are very friendly and nice...but we do have a very high crime rate compared to other countries ...

 

well a lot of people i talk with dont hate americans, like myself. i dont hate them , disagree with their government but definitly dont pegg it onto the people! and we arent just like them! we're very similar of course but in general weve got a very diffrent national mentality so cant be JUST like them.

 

just curious matt, how do you think canadians are more arrogant??
