Well I always used to agree with Groucho Marx that I'd never join a club which would have me as a member,
but in these Dark Times I've decided to renege on that principle and heed the call to support the Left.

Congratulations. We need more people on the left to take an active interest and role.

I'm a former Labour supporter (now a member of the Green Party) but still, I wish Labour well in sorting out the current mess. All of us who are on the progressive side of British politics need to work together to find real solutions for the problems we face.

May I ask, will you be supporting Corbyn to continue as leader?

I supported labour for years, like my father, grandfather etc etc..but now, I don't think so.
How can they be trusted to run our country, when they can't run themselves, they should respect their leaders choice, not through their dolly's out, it shows them up bad.

I won't vote for this bunch, no way!

Yes, I voted for him as an affiliated union member, and will vote for him again come the next leadership contest, if he is still a candidate by then.

My parents were both Tory voters. I've never voted Tory in my life.

I've mostly voted Liberal Democrat, except in '97 for Blair. I didn't vote for him again due to Blair taking us into the second Iraq war.
I voted Labour last year as they were second to the Tories in my constituency, but I've ended up with a Tory MP once again.

I was unhappy with the alleged anti-semitism within the Labour Party, but Corbyn now seems to be addressing that, which is why I have now joined the party, along with the fact that I feel Labour needs all the support it can get to oppose what I fear will be a monstrously right wing government come October.

Thing is, love or hate Corbyn (I'm quite sympathetic,) it seems very doubtful that he can unite his party, and even less likely that he can win an election.

Whatever they do, Labour need to get their act together if they want to present an alternative to the Tories.

In my opinion, Labour should split into two separate parties and form an electoral pact to run on the same ticket.

Big part of the problem seems to be a big disconnect between the Parliamentary Labour Party and the rank and file membership. The PLP would probably revert to a Blair like brand of neo-liberalism, whilst the ordinary members who voted for Corbyn want something more radical and left wing.

If they can't agree among themselves now, it would probably be even worse if they were to split. They could then fight it out in the wilderness for years to come.

Meantime, new members are joining the Green Party at a rate of nearly one per minute.

Possibly, my thinking is that its better to have two seperate entities rubbing each other the wrong way and reaching some decent compromises than to have a single entity with so many people on the inside committed to sabotaging the whole. If they form an electoral pact there's the potential to split without splitting the vote and giving the Tories free reign.

It's just an idea, I don't really see many ways out of their current mess.

The Party should remember that they act as representatives to and for the membership
Labours' leaning towards the Right obviously hasn't gone the way that the members desire - and voted accordingly last year.
The attempted coup against JC is a betrayal not just against the leader, - but the People
One should always Keep the Faith and have Conviction ... and Conscience
