Just Found Out My Wife Cheated Confirmed

I have just found out my wife has been cheating on me for at least 8 months because she is on the secondary stage of syphillis, her hair has begun to fall out. I have suspected something had been going on since about February this year. I did not click at first but my son started to get regular bouts of what I thought were ulcers in his mouth, I did inspect his mouth and I did not click at the time but they were white bumps inside his mouth, normally on the inner lip or on the gums. It was only in the last 2 weeks that he had an actual cold sore which really raised my radar because he is only 11 so he is not kissing girls or anything and then my wife started getting cold sores too which was a red flag too. She was going on holiday with my boy and she was doing her hair and she mentioned to me that she was suffering hair loss which I did not click until I did my research. Syphillis has 3 to 4 stages and stage 2 is when the hair starts to fall out so that is a good enough confirmation for me. It has only been this year that we have been having issues with cold sores and ulcers. The secondry effects of syphillis (hair loss) puts the time line at about 8 months. There is also a high correllation between syphillis and HIV so I m very stressed at the moment. I am safe because I stopped having sex with my wife about 18 months ago because of health issues I was having but I an worried about my boy having herpes or syphillis.

My wife is on holiday at the moment and will not be back until Thursday and I have emailed her all of my research so she knows that I know. How should I handle this. I know my very first priority is to my 11 y boy but I am absolutely devistated how she could be so wreckless with my boy. Any advice would be helpful.

 

Hi Gerry , sorry your going through this, first of all you say you haven’t been able to make love because of health issues, so was tempted elsewhere, she is only human after all, this could be forgiven. But your child is another matter, he is innocent in all this, make an appointment for as soon as he gets home and get him checked as soon as possible, the sooner they start treatment the better.
Then if it turns out how you suspect, you will have to choose wisely how you explain this to an 11 year old. This is going to be traumatic for him. Concentrate on sorting him out before you and your wife talk, try not to fight in front of him, he will be dealing with enough already for such a young person.be a strong dad .

You must get tested.
Secondly I cannot think how your son would catch an STD?

No she showed her hand when she told me that she did not want my friend around here drinking coffee from our coffee mugs although he has been coming round for over 2 years without and issue and of course you do not catch herpes or syphillis from coffee mugs and my boy never uses mugs because he only drinks OJ from plastic cups.
That indicates to me she is aware that there is an issue and attempted to implicate him in the plot by pointing the finger at him. It just further displays her deviant behaviour.
