People can make excuses for themselves and act like its no big deal but it really is.. Sara, I really enjoyed your posts and Im sorry that you feel the way ya do about me and are upset with me cause the things I said, but you dont know these grown men on here at all, you only know what they tell you..

Damn... I made this thread simply to thank a number of people because they have touched my heart and soul, and some people have somehow managed to totally twist, deform, and make it sound as though I was making some kind of predetory advance on the young girls here. Can't people recognize what a sincere thank-you gesture is any more??

At this point, I am so angry, hurt, and disappointed. I tell people they are beautiful or even sexy purely because they are, and that essentially should never be considered as a warning sign that I am going to sexually molest them. I don't intend to stop telling whoever is deserving, regardless of age, of sincere compliments either, because I know I will never, ever, harm them. I have respect for them, and I have my own set of morals.

This has gone too far. I no longer feel comfortable starting another thread since I now know even something totally harmless and friendly as a thank-you thread can turn into a target for ignorant ageists for bombarding. Thank you very much for ruining my thread. There, that's my thanks to you narrow-minded, brain-washed, society-approved clones.

To those who have been supportive of me, once again, I really appreciate it. You know who you are. But let's not continue with this BS. I don't want any more negative comments directed to any of you.

At any rate, I am going to request the mod to close this thread. Like I said, this has gone too far, and is no longer a thread expressing positive emotions.
