I think there would - they would become Professional Jurors, earn a living from it and in turn regularity see prejudice of viewpoints which would lead to In-Justice - IMO
I think magistrates courts operate kind of this way. Before Jurys, it was a very unfair system. You are randomly picked by a computer.
No Candy darlin' - there are no juries in a Magistrates Court - Both Dragon (my Mother) and my eldest Sister were Magistrates !!!
In Italy we have so-called 'popular judges' that take part in major trials side by side with professional magistrates. Once I was summoned and this office is paid, yet compulsory -not that the rule is actually enforced though. Had to show up along with a bunch of strangers at the local courts of justice, wait a solid hour, then we were admitted in the courtroom where a grouchy and disgruntled judge raffled a few names off the bunch and unceremoniously dismissed the lot of us.
Dragon had some 'very juicy' cases. Police raided a 'sex shop' and confiscated all this material. She plus a couple of colleagues had review all these magazines and videos to determine whether they could 'deprave' anyone. She was reviewing all this material for weeks !!!
