Julian Barnes, a devoted agnostic once said "God farted, God belched, therefore he cannot exist." What are your views on this Observation?

I don't get it, but I'm adding it to my atheist humor repertoire.

that humans like to invent words and use them to presume they know things.

much the same way i feel about christianity and its close relatives.

god or gods may well exist, just not having to be any of the ways the western world is in the habbit of thinking of them.

i do believe that more exists then is capable of being observed, and that humanities collective ego is a bit rediculous.

our creativity on the other hand, is what makes us sapient.

who said 'god' did or did not, this, that or anything? whether in word or in print, only another human after all.

the straw gods of human imagination neither prove nor disprove other then simply humans have imagination.

while real things, including the possibility of real gods, go on just fine, independent of our imaginings about them.

I think it's similar to some arguments I've made in the past. That there's not one description of God that makes any sense, aside from being a mental superego fantasy. If God has always been then he certainly has no use for a belly button, or nipples, or a mouth, or penis, or an asshole...

If God is a contradiction then he does not exist.
