Joy in middle and old age

    heeeey. there already is one! the "old hippies" in the "hippies" section. there's some awesome folks there. they should pop in here now and then more often. *hint hint* :D

    as for the original query of this thread, i can really only parrot what the older and wiser ones who have posted here before me said...it's all in the mind, you're as young as you feel. (and i feel good.) like fine wine, we mellow with age and get way less riled and all fired up like we used to in our younger daze. we can take it down a notch, kick back more, more time to kick ass more (as in fun activities)...the best is yet to come.

    like the old bull told the young bull..."let's just walk down and fuck 'em all."

    my only problem with "aging" is balancing that childish and immature side of me, with the more suppressed knowledgeseeking and reflective side. not quite there yet! :eek:

    in summary:
    we're not getting older, WE'RE GETTING BETTER!

    Kids at work guess me in my late twenties.
    I'm 35, & in my prime. I still feel younger than I am... arthritis and all.. :eek:

    Definitely a state of mind. ;)
