That's a fair enough opinion. Not one I'd share, although I do find Tim Burton a bit patchy.

I'm not really a huge fan of any of them... But Depp gets the vote for playing such a good faggot in Pirates of the Caribbean :p

Yeah, I mean have you seen Troy yet? I kept expecting him to start counting orcs! Not so much Paris, more Legolas of the Greeks!

if you go and see the film thats just come out "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" you'd think orlando bloom was a twat...even tho it's just a character he was playing...i chose to believe it was really him...and that he is in fact a twat...

unfortunately i haven't been able to come up with cases against mr's depp and pitt...but they have both been in good films...fear and loathing in las vegas, ed wood, edward scissorhands, fight club and se7en...so i will let them off...

they both need bashing in the faces with an iron tho...and then maybe people will see films because they want to see the film rather than they want to wank in the cinema...

JOHNNY! Johnny Depp all the way, man. There is no more versatile actor, as far as I'm concerned. The man is just... To be frank, he's the best fucking actor in the world (some may say that's a stretch, but hey, it's how I feel). I like when an actor doesn't play the same role in every film, and I LOVE it when said actor can make it believable! *sigh* Yes. Johnny.

Brad Pitt is good, too. His range is rather small, but he's a decent actor. :)

Orlando Bloom is a joke, and really shouldn't be in the same category as Johnny and Brad. He's cute, yes, but that's about it. Of course, maybe it's just because, like Sal said, he hasn't had a role in which he could shine bright. BUT, from what I've seen, I think he needs to brush up on his acting skills. And he REALLY needs to prove himself, because he's already been labeled as a "teen heartthrob", which is the kiss of death if you want a long-lasting, SERIOUS acting career. Unless he really gets a role to PROVE himself, or uglies himself up for a role (like Johnny did for "Edward Scissorhands"), I don't see him lasting another five years...if that.

Orlando Bloom wasn't in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Elijah Wood was.

JOHNNY DEPP!! not only is he the best actor, the best movie being Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which he has starred in, he is damn sexy also and i am looking foward to The Rum Diary, also written by Hunter S Thompson, who wrote fear and loathing.

oh my, it's got to be johnny depp. he is the best on the shallow level, looks only based level(my god, the man is forty and still pretty much the sexiest man alive).

but he is also one hell of an actor - he made edward scissorhands SUCH an endearing character, when by rights he should have been fairly hideous. he has a fanatstic body of work, and I love his quirky, offbeat chracters.
    i just adore him :)

Indeed. And almost enough to make me forgive Leonardo De Caprio for the boat movie!

Argh! You said T*tanic!!! Hot potato, orchestra stalls, Puck will make amends! *tweek* Phew.

Nah. Never seen that particular incarnation of Shakesperean butchery. I'm a bit of a snob on that front I'm afraid. I like to see the classics in their original historical settings.
