I wasn't expecting full blown dreads nowhere near two months. I'm not expecting full blown dreads within a year, but i was hoping to see at least something that resembled a single dread or matting at least.
Quick picture of the "dreads", if they can be called such. Today is 2 months 1 week? I'm not sure. I lost track.
Hell yeah I'm rockin the reunion shirt. I'm a Hamptonian AND a Phish-head. I'm definitely obligated. lol The heads standing high. I'm loving the hair even more with each day.
No. I had been at the beach that day though. I've gotten to the point where I really don't wash it in the shower that much. I'll rinse it with plain water, but now that it's summer, I'm at the beach almost every day, so I just let the saltwater do its thing.
In some of the pictures my hairs wet, in some it's damp, some completely dry. It all depends on when I feel like taking a picture of myself that particularly week or day. My hair also looks completely different each day. One day it will be a tangled uncontrollable mess, a few days later it will all lay flat and be shiney. I think my hair is is bi-polar. It hasn't been greasy in the least bit, though. Here's a picture from last night. You can see the seperation better in this one.
Thanks guys. I've been going to the beach every day still and have been outdoors just about as much as possible. All the activities are definitely helping. I definitely suggest giving up the idea of [natural/neglect] dreads if you're a couch potatoe.
haha I saw the pic and was gonna say "coming along nicely" and then saw that the next 4 people who posted said the exact same thing anyway, they look awesome, I think you're going to have some badass dreads mr. peanut butter lips.
