i have, and along with realising that the music was very good stoned, i also realised that its incredibly shallow, and equated music, from a formula floyd came across. in terms of recreational listening, it was absolutely excellent, but when it came to connecting with the music for a more inner listen, it falls short.

though i must jsut seem crazy caus i think everyone who listens to pink floyd as a deep and spiritual sort of band.. i jsut think theyve got it wrong. floyd isnt deep at all, its just really awesome to listen to stoned.

oh and i have lots of inner reflective use of weed too but its not primary

 

You mean lyrically? Because I think at least the music is pretty amazing, though some of the lyrics aren't always on par with it.

 

while it sounds really good stoned, i think their integrity is overrated, and i personally dont like it when im sober.

sorry im really stoned atm, im listening to some atm and it sounds rweally good but it still see that their musical technique is very good, but its almost as if everything they do is through this same musical technique and channel, which is the one that sounds awesome and mellow when your stoned (and for some, normally but i dont agree)

anyway i really dont dislike them that much, it was jsut lady's comment for me to listen to floyd and then id understand.. as if floyd was an essence of meditation, and not the other way around, or as if floyd is THE representation of meditation.

 

im not sayin weed isnt good while meditating but the teabag chick said its primarily for meditating! if everyone only used it for meditating then what would eb the fun in that. i certainly wouldnt smoke it if it was for meditating. think of a dealre tryin to work like that

"hey man.....you into meditating?......this new shit i got will make you think deeper then ever!"

the reason i took my first hit was cuz my friend said it was fun and that id laugh alot. well i jsut happen to be a BIG fan of laughin so i hit that shit.

 

Well, the great thing about music is we can all have our different opinions on it. Floyd is good music all the time for me, doesn't matter if I'm not stoned.

 

Well, i think its an awsome idea if you wanna be stoned at work, be stoned at interview they'll never know! :S
