I hope bigman gets this and can reply with some kind of hope and faith of a recovery from this drug from his nephew being ok ,,
Because my 14 year old son best friend and his 2 brothers and another boy ate these seeds yesterday around 4pm and where all life flyted a 1-1/2 away in drving distence to the best hospital ,,Any how there mom had found 2 of the boys in bed already out of it no respones the other my sons friend which is 15 was lieing in the bathroom in had puke all over him which might be the only thing that (((( might ))) of saved life he was out of it thought too with no respones but they seen the seeds in the puke and took it to both the hospitals cause 2 of the kids went to childrens and the other to went to a adult hospital but i guess the friend only ate 3 of these and he was awake long enough to tell his mom what happend and then he went out of it ..((( i really dont no whats going on with him now )))
Update next day 8am
My son's friend has open his eyes and can blink when told but still seems to be going through what bigmans nephew did im scared i love this kid his like my own..his one other brother open his eyes but his freeking out in other words no respones to no one just eyes open and there going crazy and his other brother the oldest 17 hasnt even woke up at all and i guess they told the mother to leave and they would contact her if he was to past during the night ,,,

Please dont mess with this plant its no good no way no how
these 4 teen's might not even make it and if they do by a chance they might not even wish they did in the long run who knows what these boys are about to face and for that matter are going through now its scary very scary and not only that all the hell you be putting people through around you there parents might loose 3 of there sons to this plant i dont no how many of my sons friends has called crying ..about his friend..
Think long and hard please ..
This is not a high drug its a killer plant with thorns and the thorns was put there for a reason ,,Now think about that too..

For the first nine hours of his 'high' we were in the dark about what could be the cause of this - ambulance drivers, fire chief, police all said it was drugs but the test results all came back negative - blood and urine samples negative. This all led the doctors to believe this was neurological and my nephew was taken for a CAT scan, where results still came back negative. We all feared the worst, brain damage, anuerism, etc. every terrifying thought came to mind. All family members were called in the middle of the night where we all rushed to the the Emergency room. We cried, worried and prayed - the younger children witnessed this chaos and won't soon forget.

If you want to try this drug, please consider what the effects of this on others will be...$20,000 hospital bill at least -ICU for days, CAT scan, Ambulance, Specialists - please take warning. We can't determine how much he took as a plant with four pods were found in his room. We still don't know if he will pull out okay or not. The doctors cannot say if there will be any long term effects. We are so worried.

Thanks for writing this. I hope those boys recover. I worked in an Emergency Room for years and I got to see so many young kids brought in for eating Jimson Weed. They were as you described. If they pulled through at all they were pretty fucked up afterwards. They always seemed to be around 14 for some reason. A very STUPID 14!

There is no way the high from this plant is worth the risk to your life!

Lemme tell ya kids what to expect when you overdose on jimson weed (and you likely will). If they find ya while you're still alive, they're gonna rush ya to the emergency room at the county hospital (which you better hope isn't too far away). You'll probably be having uncontrollable seizures, foaming at the mouth, extremities flailing away (they tie you down good).

Once you're secured they're gonna pour some epipcac down your gullet (if you're still conscious). You'll puke your guts out good, if you're lucky. If not they'll pump you out. If you survive you may have permanent brain or neurological damage. But go have fun!

Of course the fact that marijuana is still illegal causes kids to seek out other far more dangerous kicks. Keeping the soft drugs illegal only causes much more harm to society because dealers will sell hard drugs too. And when kids can't get either they go out in nature to find something.

Human beings have been doing exactly that since we have been on this planet, and no laws or social stigma will stop them.

So wise up, decriminalize the soft drugs and kids won't be resorting to dangerous drugs like Datura for kicks.

Well its been a few days but i no alittle bit more now
ive kept in close contact with these boys parents and family member
Any how the boy whos 18 the friend that ate 3 got out today and the youngest boy 14 is out of ICU today me and my son both talk to him and his really confused and dont remember allot that happend his eyes are still dilated but he said he should be getting out soon im not sure what the long term effects are going to be with them two he sounds rough confused as hell but will see..The other 2 the 17 year old and the 15 year old ate about the same amount but im still not sure how much and the 15 year old vomated most up but them 2 are still in ICU being closely watch but i do no that the 15 year old is talking but still mest up bad and i heard that the 17 year old cant stay awake im not sure if his going to make it sounds really bad on both now and long term lets hope for the best with all 4 of these boys and i hope they learned from it i no the 14 year old told us tonight he was going to go home and burn everyone of them down and he wouldnt touch that stuff for nothing again so i hope not..
this stuff is bad real bad..its like putting a gun to your head and missing half and still living the affect after would be a living hell..
ive seen alot of shit in my days done alot of differnet drugs but nothing close to this..

I hope a lot of kids get to read this. I think this drug should be the one they rail against in school, not marijuana. It's far more dangerous than almost any other drug I can think of. I got to see dozens of overdoses on Datura in the E.R., but I never was in a position to follow-up and know how badly damaged they were and how permanent it was.

Thanks for posting this again because it shows just a bit of the hell kids go thru and the dangers involved.

BTW, I never saw one o.d. over 17. It's only stupid kids, unfortunately.

Alot of bad stuff on the news about kids going nuts from using it and totaly freaking out when high on it even killing people. From what I hear the high is compared to a real bad Angel Dust trip that last longer. There have been a hand full of Deaths from it and people on it also murdering others. Its makes people very very violent when they take to high of a dose sometimes. and like the above post says most are young kids who are under 16.

I wouldnt trip from daturas. With jimson weed its easy to get OD and finnish in the hospital or six feet under :S
