Of course he had lyrical talent. He was one of the most intligent and talented poets ever. His poems are something very, very special. I love them, I can't imagine my life without reading his poems. People thinks they are strange because they are trying to figure out what they mean. Jim said: "Listen, real poetry daesn't say anything, it just ticks off the possibilities. Open all doors. You can walk through anyone that suits you." That's why Jim Morrison is my god.
Jim Morrison is/was extremely talented, but I'm not gonna' call him a god. Don't get me wrong, the man is amazing, but I would prefer to call whoever made this planet a god.
haha imm 17 in 12 days if that helps i read riders on the storm several times and parts of "no one gets out alive" and actually when you look at all the facts its possible he might be alive today
Jim is god and everyone knows it. He was an amazing poet and his aura as you read or hear about it puts you in a different place.
fuck yes. i just watched *the doors* by oliver stone and it was so fucking awesome. really really long tho...
i went sledding today and smoked like 2 bowls at the top of the hilland went down...holy shit that was amazing
Jim Morrison hated the idea of being an idol. That is why on L.A.Woman he had grown a beard and decided to become fat&ugly, not the good looking man that you see on the front cover of Absolutly Live!.Still I like some of the Doors music . I can remember when Riders On The Storm was a single in the charts.
i reckon he might love it. And i thought he appeared with a beard on shorter than rest of the band on the front cover of L.A woman to piss off his record company
HAHAHA... Jim Morrison was NOT a decent poet. I've seen better rhymes from fouth graders. Every once in awhile he comes up with a good line, however, for the most part his lyrics are juvenile. Imagine kindergarden on acid... there you have the quality of Morrison's "poetry". Ahaha... I agree with Pavel this time. The origanal poster does look like him though.
people say that because they dont understand it at all theres a much deeper meaning behind 100% of his lyrics never tke a doors song at face value
