Personally, no...I don't think he's still alive. I don't, however, think he died when they said he did. I've read the book No One Here Gets Out Alive a few times, and according to the book it was all really questionable. Pam died like three years later, and her death certificate was inconclusive. Jim never wanted the publicity. He hated the fact he was known as a singer rather than a poet. I believe that it was all staged myself. Who knows...
