Usually I couldn't care less about celebrity culture, but some folks here might find this interesting. I haven't seen any of his latest movies yet, but I keep meaning to. Yep pretty ironic. Although technically he criticized "capitalism without concience". Meaning he somehow believes capitalism can be ethical.
Capitalism can be ethical. You just have to put ethics over profit. Make the most profit within the limits of what is ethical, not just make as much profit as possible. I mean, I don't know. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, feel free to correct me : )

I have misgivings about the tax brackets. I think that Bernie is onto something when it comes to corporations. Not so sure about individuals, but I have never been a super wealthy individual, so it's hard to know what it would feel like to sacrifice like 50% of your holdings. The number looks unjust on paper, but when you look at the actual cost of living it's less ludicrous. I'm glad Jim Carrey sees fit to speak out like that and show that he's thinking about things with his heart and mind. That should become more popular.

FUCK YEAH this guy I used to know and I used to say this to each other all the time and neither of us could remember where it came from, its been a huge mystery for years now and just now while browsing Jim Carrey gifs for this thread, I realized it came from Jim Motherfucking Carrey I LIKE IT A LOT This really makes me happy, it has bothered me for the better part of a decade
