what i find hard to grasp is that conversations have been recorded (supposedly) and the christian faith is dependant upon these conversations.... the reason i started this thread was not to question that there are historical documents..but rather just how much of these documents have been altered to give credence to a religion....
In a Biblical worldview people are worth far more than animals... -Men are created in the image of God; animals are not. -Men have intelligence incomparably beyond that of animals. -Men have the power to choose right from wrong and so are morally accountable to be judged for their choices. -God requires men, not animals, to be taught His laws. -Men have eternal spirits and eternal destinies; animals do not. -Men have much greater value to God than do animals. -Men have dominion over animals -Jesus died to save men, not animals. http://www.biblestudylessons.com/cgi-bin/gospel_way/animals-people.php
You've thrown out a list...opinions and paraphrased Bible verses from your website link...that support your "Biblical worldview"...but you missed my point. For the sake of adding to the discussion, I was trying to bring in a perspective on abortion from the viewpoint of a faith other than Christianity...and explain why this perspective supports an anti-abortion position. It seems that you're completely unable or unwilling to deal with a viewpoint that originates anywhere other than directly from the Bible and/or your particular Christian milieu, even if this other viewpoint supports a position strongly held by Christians. All you've done is react, with the obvious intent of discrediting everything I said. I could answer every statement you've made, but it would be a waste of time. You'd just load up your cannons with whatever was handy and fire another broadside.
