Doubt is only reasonable where it comes to reading things in scriptures that are not explicitly described.

I used to follow his writings back in the day when I was really into weed. From what I remember he found some old text giving the breakdown in components of the holy anointing oil and one of the ingredients was 'kaneh bosom' which means fragrant cane in Hebrew.

I don't see it as super far fetched, but who knows.

I fully agree :) It's not super far fetched but nobody knows so there is really no need to proclaim that it is certain.

There is only evidence for two things about Jesus.
    1: He was a Jew....
2: He was enlightened (at least compared to other Jews of the time :) )
If Jesus followed Jewish law to the letter, as most Jews did, he wasn't a stoner. Yet the Jesus of the Testaments obviously wasn't a truly adherent Jew soooo......
Pointless topic time to move on to something else. Whether Jesus used cannabis or not changes nothing about modern Christianity and it's beliefs.

There is no hard evidence of that. You are confusing evidence with deduction I think.

There was/is a guy in Canada who claims he can heal cancer using cannabis oil.

What makes me sceptical is that I know of at least one regular user of the herb who died a couple of years back from cancer. Not lung cancer from smoking, but pancreatic cancer, and clearly it didn't help.

As for JC, I'd have to agree with others who have pointed out that there isn't a scrap of real evidence to connect Him with pot. But no doubt speculation will continue.

When I refer to enlightened I do not mean true understanding, I mean Asian enlightenment.

Hi there everyone, how can I replace prescription drugs, for medicinal cannabis here in Portugal?
I have psychosis to a point, and generics are giving me side effects all this time on prescription drugs!
I have a public health restriction order to follow up medical procedures since 2011, the system does
comply with these prescription drugs I do, but with medicinal cannabis it is a grey area yet! Even though the main
pharma has already one of few can med options for the public, I think they are expensive from the
last time I checkt, and all these time doing prescription drugs gave me social stigma, and I cannot go to
the streets to buy for pot also. I am looking for something natural of medicinal cannabis that
accomplish the systems points I have been collecting to this day. I recently registry myself to one
the Portuguese Association for Cannabis access, but they were unable to reply, I believe they closed
doors by now! Someone knows How can I flip my current treatment of prescription drugs, for medicinal cannabis?
thanks so much, any help will be deeply appreciated, Miguel

Hi Miguel. You can try CBD which is pot without the THC. You can get gummies, edibles, oil, etc. depending upon your need and preference.
CBD is legal in some countries. I'm not sure you can get it in Portugal, but you can certainly order it online from many places.
It can help medicinally depending upon your condition. THC is better for other conditions.

Good luck to you and welcome back to the Hip Forums.
