Jersey shore hate?

Im an old timer that lives within 1/2 hour of where the town that show is filmed
I gotta tell ya- It really isnt reality- its Hollywood-
Most of the NJ Shore people wouldnt put up with those kids for 10 mints- never mind the shore police (which are basically cops that are rented for the summer months)

oF course there are plenty of knuckle heads who do act like that , but its pretty much confined to a small area
To bad reality TV wasnt around in the mid 70,s- now that wouldve been a show-

 

Yeah. I spend a good amount of time at the Jersey Shore (just spent last weekend at my friend's Mom's condo in Ocean City - it wasn't exactly like a Jersey Shore tv episode haha) and I rarely witness people who act like the folks in that show. It must be all made-up and not real.

That show is supposed to be set in like Tom's River, right? I can't picture it either! However, the fashions such as that stupid looking blow-out-fade haircut, do tend to be accurate. I see many people with that "look" at the shore.

 

Idk, I never really got into Jersey Shore. I'm more of a Dawson's Creek or the L word kind of lady. I don't watch much television, but I like long series with well developed story lines. I really like to fall in love and make friends with fictional characters, not watch a bunch of America's typical stereotypical people party it up, sleep with each other, and then fight over it.
