I take it you mean 'proof', not 'truth'? Just because there isn't convincing evidence doesn't mean it's not true.
Before you go and try to put me in a certain camp because of this remark: i am entirely open to both possibilities. Just pointing out it isn't certain to us at this point wether he's guilty OR NOT.

The press is not crooked for reporting these allegations btw. As it was newsworthy and that's what the press reports. A lot of press may be biased, but as long as they're open about that (and its clear they're not making it a secret) it also doesn't make them crooked.
