damn, Grace is a beautiful album. I am listening to it on repeat while I type my essay (well, actually while I type on here and put off doing my essay, but what the hell...) Anyway, just thought I'd share. Buckley was one talented fella. *sigh* Anyone else agree?
i agree, and live and sin-e is even better i think but the album that was released after he died, sketches for my sweet heart the drunk is a no go, quiet frankly i think its pants, but then again it was only a demo for an album not the full thing!
by far my absolute favorite male artist. I'm planning on getting a buckley themed tattoo sometime and my next dog I get will be named buckley. yeah, I'm a bit fanatical about him. when I first heard grace, I was blown away.... I literally cried... it was weird too because I started reading about jeff and read about how he drowned.... and a few days after that I heard that one of my ex boyfriends (who I hadn't been in contact with for a year or so) had drowned .... so I sorta found the timing really creepy..... that I would start discovering and loving jeff then.... and that was the beginning of a beautiful love affair that will continue until the day I die.... maybe even longer.
Jeff Buckleys music is...magical. Just pure beauty. I have Grace and I love each and every song on it. My favorite for now is 'Lover, should've come over',... I also like Tim Buckley.
