Hey, you never know Matt, you could be surprised. I had always assumed I was under average until sort of recently, mostly due to insecurity caused by basing my awareness on porn rather than my real life experience.

I was just trying to be funny anyway bro, jealousy sucks and I used to have BIG issues with it, mostly insecurity and sexual confusion, in relationships. Now I am only jealous of people who are generally happy, rich, and work less stressful jobs or don't have to work at all. If I was in your position I'd probably be excited and request a threesome, I'd go right up to that girl and toss a few bands and say "Bands a make her dance, bands a make her dance, all these chicks clappin and they ain't using hands"

Sorry, any excuse to break out the joystick for me. Actually, something I've started doing, is using both hands, it's pretty interesting, I don't know how that hasen't occured to me to do up until this year. Ok, I'll stop now.

 

Don't go for the stupid ones. There are too many smart ones that are cute too. Once someone catches your eye though, it's hard not to notice everything they do.

 

On the other hand, when you project your ideal image on every possible candidate and get dissappointed if it doesn't fit you might end up with no one at all.
Just because she is into a crap artist now is one of the most stupid reasons to dismiss a person in my opinion (and I find music taste in a partner important too). Perhaps she has a latent passion for the same music you like, who freaking knows??

 

We all make fools of ourselves every now and then. My advice: take it less seriously that she has other male friends, and you probably didn't look nearly as silly as you did in your own head. Shake yourself off, grab a beer, and go into work tomorrow and ask her out for some coffee and stop making excuses about the type of music she listens to.
