lol too late purple is already done. it is dark, to be honest though, the "blonde" would be too difficult to upkeep since my hair is naturally brown and grows super quick, in week i had half an inch of growth from the roots. darker colours are just easier to deal with

 

that's fun I have had fully purple hair before.. before I had dreads

I ahve had fully purple hair as well before, tis was a bright purple, tis was before dreads, short.

 

That colour looked nice.

 

I tried to dye my hair once.
It was red, but it came out purple. It looked rad,
and I told everyone I did it on purpose.

I didn't....


I'm itchin' to dye my hair again.....

what dye do you use? looks more reddy coloured but could be the light, but very awesome and i love it suits you!
I think stargazer is good stuff,i used it for years and they do a really deep puuuuuuuuuuurple

 

i use shwazkopf XXL dyes, there the only dyes that have a picture of a guy on the box, plus their colours are really cool

six months and still purple, its not vibrant enough for me though, im gonna go pick up a semi-permanent dye to get a stronger colour and use that instead. anywhoo, here ya go

 

I love that 2nd pic. I agree you should go stronger color... that or go back to natural color-I say, jealous of the ginger dreads-

its something to do with male irish hair, no matter what colour dye you use it always seems to get a tinge of ginger in it, its really annoying

 

If you really want the purple to come through you should bleach your hair first, and if need be use a white/blue toner to take out the orange tones

 

i did bleach my hair first!!!! its such a pain, why cant i be a natural purple!!!

 

hmm well leave the bleach in longer and then try a toner, I recommend manic panic's virgin snow. check for it on ebay...

 

8 month update, really starting to do their thing now, im getting less and less "your dreads arent working i think its time you waxed" comments
