i just trimmed my dogs back leg nails and then she went and ate them...so this is kind of a weird way of home-self recycling.

I feel like a zombie today.

I had to refrain from eating people's faces.

There weren't any faces to eat in Boston today. They were all frozen off. So I went hungry.

Guys have told me that the weight of the casket is surprisingly heavier than they'd imagined.

I'm sure you honored your grandfather's memory by pallbearing. :grouphug:

Yeah. I am the shortest in my family. I'm not short (5'10" ), but the rest of the family are monsters (next smallest being 6'2" and 200 pounds). It was kinda awkward for me because i needed to adjust to their height.

Yeah, my son has real problems pallbearing because he is only about 5'6". He is strong as an ox but lifting that casket high has been hard when he's done it.

So, you have passed a milestone...bearing one of your grandparents to their resting place. Is this the first grandparent you've lost?

My other grandfather died before I was born. I guess I can say it was my most significant loss to date.
Definetly a milestone. Its creating alot of existential questions for sure.

    Thanks Shiv. :)

In this case it's multiple stories, too much to tell here. Let's just say that (1) I'm having lots of fun that I never used to think I would have, and (2) I'm talking via email to someone who seems to know a helluva lot about the kinds of psychic/spiritual experiences I've been having for the past several years, and wants to compare notes.

And Shiv btw - I feel some of your experience - grandfather dying, seeing family again after so long. I've done some of that and know how it can be. Just wanted to acknowledge that I'm reading and thinking about your posts.

And btw I'm only 5'8". If I stand up very straight. Hell, at my age I'm probably starting to shrink a bit.

My son Jeremy however is almost 6 feet tall. The tall genes bypassed me for a more deserving candidate. :D

I'm sitting up at the computer...just asleep as can be, lol. Ugh...I hate meds but my freaking back has been bad all day. I'll hit the sack before I start sleep posting...which is pretty cute...but, nah... I'm going outside to smoke a cigarette...If I wake up I might post.
